The summer is approaching quickly! One side of me happily shouts, "Hooray! No more scheduling, sleep, eat, and relax!" while another one nags about the use of this time to prep for the new school year.
Effective Summer Planning blog post in The Chronicle of Higher Education brings up a problem of time management, the problem that we teach our students frequently.
The blog reminds of the law of vision that keeps us focused on our goals and forms the outcome of our efforts. It's important to have our mind set up on a goal, even when we plan our summer break. The vision determines the summer. Do you ask yourself a question, "What is my dream to have accomplished over this summer?"
Digital calendars is a tool to make things be done (TBD). Google Calendar is so familiar! It allows us to view the calendar by day, week, month or year.
