Reveal Your Summer Reading

Summer Reading Chain is growing every day. It's already a half way through the library inner glass wall.  The chain demonstrates how much reading was done this summer by everyone from the WBAIS community.

We encourage every student, parent, and staff member to contribute to the activity by writing a title of each book they read this summer on a strip of colored paper and staple it to the Summer Reading Chain in the library.

Welcome to the Buzzing Library

Library is buzzing with excitement during the first days of school. Students bring back and check out novels, graphic cartoons, and picture books (to name just a few genres); teachers bring classes to borrow textbooks and book sets. New books have arrived! - what a thrill! And... library classes have begun. Welcome!

Students are getting their laptops

Tech Department leads Student Technology Orientation during the first week of school in the library. It's important to prepare students to use laptops as tools rather than toys, especially in a one-to-one computer environment.

Students take ownership for their learning and equipment.

Library Tech Week 2008

Thank you everyone who participated in our annual event. Now it's time to share the photographs of you taking part in all our activities. Wasn't it fun to read together, act out, having hands on creating digital stories, sharing your favorite books, listening to stories at lunch time and eating in the library - shshshsh - don't do this on a regular day, having a keyboarding and texting contests, and listening to podcasts created by a number of classes.
