Teen Read Week and Book Club

October 18 - 24 is Read Beyond Reality @ Your Library Teen Read Week.

The High School Book Club organized by Mrs. Aviva Rosensweig had its first meeting. About 20-25 students and some teachers joined the discussion of the book AT RISK by Alice Hoffman. It was a wonderful start.

November 16-20 2009 is the Library Technology Week. Book Club will meet again on THE BOOK THIEF by Markus Zusak. We'll meet in a lobby near the library.

Everyone is invited to join the discussion and other activities that will be running during that week.

We know that students love to experiment with new gadgets and use digital tools. They use them for class and homework, communication, self-expression, and just for fun! If you want to share with others your personal web page, a collection of favorite links that might be helpful to your friends, video and/or audio projects that you've created not long time ago, blog or wiki, - come to the library and talk to Ms. Brodsky. We'll gladly add your project to others that will march a parade during the Library Technology Week on the library web page.

Meet Me@My Library!
